Congratulations! If you’re reading this your new bundle is probably rocking an extra chromosome, so welcome to The Lucky Few. If having a new baby weren’t hectic enough, you’re probably also dealing with a lot of new information being thrown your way in regards to your baby having Down syndrome. Don’t fret, you will in time be able to wrap your head around all of this. For now, make sure you take the time to enjoy your newborn; watch them sleep, count their toes, take in all the new baby smells and sounds. Your baby is perfect! Project 321 Peel is here to be your circle of support. We’ve all been where you are right now, and we want you to know there is no right or wrong when it comes to your thoughts and feelings. Every question you have, big or small is important. Project 321 Peel is a safe space for you to be honest and open. We hold Parent Network Meetings each month that are an open forum to discuss anything you wish; we encourage you to connect with us if you wish to have a more personal one-on-one meeting with one of our members.
